Meal Polls

To add more food options in the campus, “Meal Polls” will be implemented in on-campus restaraunts. “Meal Polls” will be an online survey that will be sent to the students every Sunday. As they open the survey, they will be asked to consent in sharing their responses for data privacy and confidentiality. As they move to answering the survey, they will see questions asking about their dietary plan, allergen list, and food preferences of the students. It will ask the students to list and choose the food options that meet the needs and preferences of their diet plan and allergen list. As the student submits, the student will receive a specialized QR code that would be scanned to obtain a 15% discount when dining in any on-campus restaurants. This discount will can be used three times when dining into the restaraunts. When availing the discount, the student will show their Pitt ID and specialized QR code to the cashier.
